My Observations

Sorry, I'm swamped.  This recap will just have the numbers with no commentary except to say ... awesome game from the Jayhawks, as usual of late.

Four Factor Analysis

  • eFG% - KU by 57-38%
  • TURNOVERS - KU significant advantage, 27-13% rate
  • OFFENSIVE REBOUNDING - KU dominated 47-24%
  • FREETHROW RATE (FTM/FGA) - Slim advantage for KU of 19-18%.
What did the difference in this
statistic mean to each team?

Scoring Margin Advantage Gained

Statistic Measured Kansas Iowa State
eFG% 22.6
TO Rate 10.0
O-Reb% 5.6
Freethrows FT Pct   0.9
FT Attempts 3.9

CONCLUSION - Except for small disadvantage in FT percentage, this game was completely owned by Kansas.
