Player Analysis:

(largely in context of ratings above)

Hubalek and Clark have carried most of the load for the Cyclones, but Cory Johnson has been the most efficient player on the team.  Haluska, Garrett and Thompson have really struggled.  In particular, Garrett and Thompson are turnover machines.  Although it's one of the youngest teams in the country, it happens to be one of the very tallest, ranking #11 in effective height in the country.  Despite such a height advantage, they are one of the worst offensive rebounding teams (#300).  Hubalek is really their main threat on the glass.

Kansas counters with a balanced attack with many options.  The problem is that lately, most of those options have not been playing all that well.  The outside shooting has cooled in the big games, and when they needed him to step up, Darrell Arthur has largely been sitting on the bench with foul trouble.  Perhaps this will be the road game where KU gets back into the form it had earlier in the season when most experts believed the Jayhawks to be the best team in the land.

 FOUR FACTORS ADVANTAGES

eFG%  KU 51-44%  Rare for an ISU opponent to shoot above 50 eFG%, so even KU's strong shooting will be tested.

 Four Factors Overall
eFG% shooting advantage should be reinforced by small gains in OREB% and TO.
