Rationale for adding "rebounds" as a statistic in hockey.
Clearly, basketball is way of ahead of hockey in the level of sophistication of its statistical analysis. This article proposes the addition of "rebounds" as a valuable statistic to be added to the National Hockey League portfolio of stats. It is also a nice primer on some of the shortcomings of currently available hockey stats.
