Sports and Numbers

There are many different methods for evaluating basketball player performance.  This technique incorporates multiple methods, including the PER and +/- methods.  The author elaborates on this in the article.  Of note, the top offensive performer from the NBA in 2006-07 was Dirk Nowitzki.  That may seem obvious to some, but some systems come up with some whacky rankings.
